Problem With Heated Seats Prompts '01-'04 Jeep Grand Cherokee Recall

WASHINGTON, D.C. --- Chrysler is recalling 102,354 MY 2001-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles with heated seats because the front seat electric heater elements could overheat and pose a fire risk, according to the NHTSA. 

Dealers will replace the front seat heater elements free of charge. 

Vehicle owners can reach Chrysler at (800) 853-1403.
