ADESA Names David Vignes as Executive Vice President of Strategic Improvement and Logistics

CARMEL, IN – David Vignes has been promoted to executive vice president of strategic improvement and logistics of ADESA. Vignes, who joined the company in June 2007, recently served as ADESA's senior vice president of operations and strategic improvements. In his new role, he will report directly to ADESA President and CEO Jim Hallett.

Vignes has more than 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, enhancing operations and the optimization of customer values. During his 15 years with the Walt Disney Company, he also held several executive positions, first in France and then in Florida, in the areas of finance and operations.

Vignes' will help further integrate ADESA's sister companies, AutoVIN and PAR North America, with the company's recent addition of a corporate level transportation department.

Vignes is a former Lieutenant in the Air Force in France, and currently serves as an appointed member of the U.S./France Trade Commission.
