November 26, 2003

Manheim’s Lauderdale-Miami Auto Auction raised more than $38,000 for the American Cancer Society with its fourth annual Fall Golf Classic on October 15. The event, held at Weston Hills Country Club in Weston Hills, Fla., drew 175 participants.

“We are proud to make this contribution to the American Cancer Society,” said Allan Wilwayco, general manager for Lauderdale-Miami Auto Auction. “Our entire staff worked hard to make this event a success. Together, we set a goal to raise $35,000 and are excited to have been able to exceed that goal.”

The event had support from more than 40 sponsors. Event participants were eligible for thousands of dollars in cash and other prizes.
