Interstate Fleet Services hopes to build a $2 million fleet service center on part of a vacant 9.1-acre tract of vacant property in southeastern Pennsylvania.

The vehicle-leasing firm is based in Colmar and operates offices in Allentown and North Hills. The budget for the project would encompass costs for land acquisition, construction, and equipment. It would create 10-12 jobs, reports Lancaster Online.

Interstate Fleet Services must obtain a variance from the East Hempfield Township Zoning Hearing Board before it can proceed with the project.
