Volvo's 2016 XC90 T8 plug-in hybrid luxury SUV with a twin-charged 2.0-liter four-cylinder will start at $69,095 with the destination charge included, according to the automaker.

The XC90 T8 will come in three trim levels including Momentum, R-Design, and Inscription. The base-level Momentum will start at $69,095, while the R-Design and Inscription trims have MSRPs of $70,995 and $72,595 respectively.

Buyers may be eligible for a federal tax credit up to an estimated $4,600 in addition to other local and state incentives because of the XC90 plug-in hybrid battery technology, according to Volvo.

The XC90 T8 is expected to arrive at Volvo retailers in North America this fall.
