GPS Insight Honored as Multiple Stevie Award Winner

September 19, 2012 - Press Release

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – GPS Insight was presented with a Gold Stevie Award in the New Product or Service of the Year - Software - Asset Management Solution category and the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Asset Management Solution in the 10th Annual American Business Awards last night. These are the third and fourth major achievements for The GPS Insight Fleet Tracking Solution this year, to include Inc. 5000 and Red Herring.

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

More than 3,000 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Most Innovative Company of the Year, Management Team of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Executive of the Year, among others.

Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 270 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process this year.

The People’s Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite New Products are a feature of The American Business Awards in which the general public can vote for their favorite new products and services of the year. More than 98,000 votes were cast in 30 product categories in this year’s vote. All new products and services honored in the ABA’s new product categories were included in people’s choice voting.

“GPS Insight is thrilled to have been presented with both Stevie awards for the Asset Management Solution category. We very much appreciate the votes from the public as well as those by the judges, and the recognition given by the American Business Awards,” said Rob Donat, Founder and CEO of GPS Insight.

“We’re delighted to recognize so many innovative companies, new products, technical achievements, and technology executives in the ABA’s new product and tech awards categories,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “It’s gratifying and inspiring to have received so many remarkable entries for this year’s competition. We look forward to staging this event in San Francisco for years to come.”
