The Renault-Nissan plant in Tangier, Morocco assembled its one millionth vehicle earlier this month, according to Just Auto.

The one millionth vehicle, a blue Dacia Lodgy, was exported to Turkey, the publication added. Dacia is under Renault's Romanian subsidiary, Automobile Dacia. In total, the plant, which acts as a source of low-cost cars for Africa, has produced 193,181 Lodgys, 320,078 Dokkers, and 474,840 Sanderos. These vehicles are sold locally in Morocco and exported to 73 countries.

The plant’s first production line opened in February 2012. A second line was added in 2013.
