Philips Names Netherlands Global Commodity Manager

Pim De Weerd was named global commodity manager mobility for Philips in Eindhoven, Netherlands. He assumed this position in January 2017.

In his new position, De Weerd manages a multimodal mobility program for employee ground transportation. This includes the commodities: leased cars, rental cars, taxis, trains, bus transport, fuel, and parking.

According to De Weerd, the focus of his position is on innovative, flexible, sustainable, and cost-efficient mobility solutions.

Prior to this, De Weerd was the global commodity manager, leased cars for Philips from 2012 to 2016.
