Mercedes-Benz Van Sales Germany will be offering delivery companies fleet-related services at an Amazon distribution center in Germany. This includes offering a range of Mercedes-Benz vans that drivers may utilize in the event of a vehicle breakdown or to cover order peaks.

Held at a new Amazon Logistics Distribution Center in Bochum, Germany, the location also features, rental parking spaces and optional on-site vehicle cleaning and tire pressure checks, according to  Mercedes-Benz.

Mercedes-Benz Van Sales Germany worked jointly with sales partner Fahrzeug-Werke LUEG AG to offer the services at the location.

The site has an available range of Mercedes-Benz vans from the Daimler mobility concept CAR2SHARE cargo are available on site, offering rentals that can be secured via smartphone to ensure mobility.

A chip inserted onto the license plate will give delivery vehicles automated access to the location. Additionally, maintenance and repair services for the Mercedes-Benz van fleets are available in the nearby Commercial Vehicle Center of LUEG AG.
