DES PLAINES, Ill. --- Fleet leasing company Wheels Inc. has introduced the Wheels MasterCard fuel card in Puerto Rico, as part of the company's fuel management program there.

Wheels manages more than 250,000 vehicles. Its holding company, Frank Consolidated Enterprises, currently ranks as the largest privately held fleet management company in North America.

The new Wheels fuel card provides a convenient to expense fuel while receiving data that can be consolidated with other fleet expenses, the company said. The card also provides multi-level security for fraud protection and gives clients the ability to set various purchase limits for program control.

The card is accepted at 97 percent of fueling stations on the island of Puerto Rico. Fuel transactions are displayed in FleetView, Wheels’ online fleet management tool. Clients can use that data to run standard or custom reports to monitor activity and to set up Dashboard Alerts to monitor exceptions.

"We’ve launched the card to almost all of our Puerto Rico fleets and are receiving great feedback from users," said John Moore, senior director of Four Wheels and Puerto Rico operations. "The new Wheels fuel card effortlessly captures valuable transaction data for consolidated billing and fuel data in FleetView, and it has greatly simplified the fueling process for drivers."
