Perman New Hertz Vice President

Hertz Corp. has named Ronald J. Perman a vice president. He continues as company treasurer.

Perman joined Hertz in 1958 and was named controller in I960 and treasurer last October.

Avis Inc has announced three corporate appointments. Richard H. Perkins is the company's new personnel and office manager. He formerly was manager, personnel research, benefits and employment services for H.  P.  Hood & Sons.

Named corporation counsel for Avis was William C. McPike, former senior trial attorney in the anti-trust department of the Justice Department. At one time McPike worked for General Motors Corp.

The new Midwest regional sales manager for Avis is William R. Groomes. A former vice president of National Equipment Leasing Corp. and of Manufacturers Leasing Corp., Groomes will be in charge of controlling and develop­ing long-term leasing.
