Finalrentals recently launched in Puerto Rico as part of an expansion across the Caribbean and American peninsula, the company announced Nov. 28.

Puerto Rico is the starting point for the company's further growth throughout the Caribbean and the Americas. Finalrentals already runs operations in in Saint Lucia, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Costa Rica. The international auto rental provider has a vision of eventually reaching 100 countries worldwide in coming years.

Founder and CEO Ammar Akhtar emphasizes that the franchise will continue to prioritize exceptional customer experiences.

With the addition of the new franchise in Puerto Rico, Finalrentals will now offer car rental services at the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport near San Juan. "Finalrentals is experiencing incredible growth in our region, and it is an honour to represent the brand in Puerto Rico," said Alberic Coln, the business leader and owner of the Puerto Rican franchise, in a news release.

Akhtar added, "This region holds a special place in my heart, and we are thrilled to arrive in Puerto Rico finally." With each new franchise, Finalrentals aims to bring its world-class car rental services to more people, making travel more accessible and enjoyable, he said.
