Gatik will deploy multiple autonomous trucks for Kroger, transporting shipments consisting of groceries, foodstuffs, and general merchandise on a continuous service loop from Kroger’s Distribution Center.
The service will be available through two Houston Kroger stores, reaching customers residing in four local zip codes.

Kroger has rolled out video telematics to its fleet of more than 1,200 tractor-trailers, and is already seeing a significant reduction in collisions, handheld phone use, and unbelted drivers.
