IRS Issues Vehicle Depreciation Requirements

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Internal Revenue Service has issued Revenue Procedure 2005-13, which provides limitations on depreciation deductions for passenger vehicles first placed in service in calendar year 2005, including special tables on limitations on depreciation deductions for truck and vans, according to Fleet Focus, the e-mail newsletter produced by the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA).
