General Motors introduced its 2014-MY Cadillac ELR, an extended-range electric vehicle (similar to the Volt) slated to go on sale in early 2014. The vehicle features a 1.4L gasoline generator and electric motors for propulsion, and GM said the Cadillac ELR has an all-electric range of 35 miles. Ford unveiled a new pickup truck concept vehicle at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit called the Atlas Concept.
