Ford has redesigned its 2015 Edge with new technology, more driver-assist features and improved performance. The 2015 Edge is notable as the first Ford vehicle to get optional Enhanced Park Assist, a sensor-based system that helps drivers with parallel and perpendicular parking. Audi's A3 TDI sedan became the automaker's second clean-diesel vehicle offered in North America with the 2010 model year, following the Q7 TDI. The BMW i3 electric car, first introduced for the 2014 model year, is an innovative step forward in EV technology with its carbon fiber, plastic and aluminum structure. Hyundai showed the Santa Cruz crossover compact truck at the Detroit auto show earlier this month that features an extendable bed allowing users to run the truck as a compact or mid-size pickup.
