Fleet Manager of the Year
The Edward J. Bobit Professional Fleet Manager of the Year award, first introduced in 1985, was created to recognize a proficient fleet manager who has demonstrated special business acumen in developing and executing key management policies in all areas.
Winners of the award are full-time commercial fleet managers who control a company-owned or leased fleet of more than 100 cars and light trucks. The annual award goes to a fleet manager who finds innovative ways to improve safety, efficiency, and productivity.
The award was renamed in 2018 to honor Ed Bobit, the founder of Bobit Business Media and one of the co-founders of AFLA. Sponsors include Wheels, Inc. and AFLA.
