Wertzberger and Ty Thompson of Auto Transport Intel will also livestream coverage of CAR from the exhibit floor on March 23 and 24.
Why Consignors, Auctions, Dealers Need to Know More About Auto Transport
CAR 2022: The key logistical link among consignors, auctions and dealers boils down to how efficiently transport trucks roll down the road to fulfill millions of transactions.

The Conference of Automotive Remarketing this year features a must-see panel of experts on vehicle transport, becoming more relevant than ever in the age of digital vehicle marketplaces and their quick time demands.
Auto transport often gets taken for granted, but now the common question becoming more pressing than ever is: “Where’s my car right now?” said Jay Wertzberger, founder and host of Auto Transport Intel: The Car Shipping Business Channel, who will moderate a panel March 24 during the Conference of Automotive Remarketing at Caesars Las Vegas.
The panel, Auto Transport Logistics: Challenges & Trends, will include Joe Bercari, vice president and general manager of Mid-Western Car Carriers, John Robertson, executive vice president of Ship Your Car Now, Dana Rogers, president of Preowned Auto Logistics, and Jose Delgado, chief client and operations officer of Location Services, LLC.
Panelists will hold forth during an in-depth discussion of how vehicle transportation and delivery businesses that connect buyers to sellers can manage so many different challenges — both from external factors of economy, environment, technology, and shortages to the internal demands of an automotive ecosystem with so many verticals and moving parts.
“We know that dealers and auction representatives have many questions for transporters,” Wertzberger said. “We hope to actually get to the heart of the real answers. “Where is my car?” That’s a complicated answer. We will try to shed light on that complicated answer.”
Wertzberger said the panelist are actual carriers and brokers from the industry with expert knowledge about the logistics behind transport.
“This will be a real auto transport discussion,” he said. “You will know names and faces of auto transport business professionals and understand their business better instead of just guessing. We are all tired of guessing. They will also be on the exhibit floor. Be sure to chase them down and talk to them.”
