Federal energy and environmental policies have a direct impact on fleets and their green initiatives. Having worked on well-known cases within fleet, Coddington is well-versed on alternative fuels and how policies can affect your bottom line. For example, he represented the American Automotive Leasing Association and National Association of Fleet Administrators before the U.S. Supreme Court in a case involving the scope of federal pre-emption of state fleet requirements (Engine Mfrs. Ass’n v. South Coast Air Quality Management District, 541 U.S. 246 (2004)).

The 2013 Green Fleet Conference & Expo offers attendees the opportunity to engage with other fleet professionals through a variety of networking events to hearing real-life experiences at workshops and sessions. With a 70% increase in registrations so far for 2013 compared to the same time last year, and a range of vehicles of all fuel types available at the Ride & Drive — alongside a 70,000 sq.-ft. exhibit hall — fleets will acquire the tools they need to further their green fleet initiatives.

Early-bird registration is available until Sept. 6 and provides $100 off registration. A per diem hotel rate is also available to public fleet managers.
