Weather Guard has introduced a redesigned truck rack and a new collection of mounting kits at the NTEA's Work Truck Show in Indianapolis.

Weather Guard’s Steel Truck Rack is designed for a one-hour installation time and no-drill process aimed at professional contractors. Users can assemble the product before attaching the rack to their vehicle, which helps reduce the risk of damage, while creating a faster and easier installation process.

The Steel Truck Rack’s universal design utilizes clamps, stake pockets and front leg adjustments in order to accommodate any full size truck bed. The new design includes an airfoil – which reduces drag – to increase driver safety and cut down on excessive noise.

It is designed to maximize tie down capabilities with four large top and bottom tie down hoops across the rack. This allows the rack to better secure loads up to 1,000 pounds. These tie points are spaced from front to the rear of the rack and give flexibility to add taller loads.

The new Weather Guard rack is a three component system, including a cab protector screen and cross member bar, and is compatible with  Weather Guard truck boxes.

Faster-Install Mounting Kits

A four-way stop design provides an extra layer of security that limits side-to-side and front-to-back motion.

Weather Guard also launched a collection of mounting kits for compact and full size vans. The kits are designed to add durability features to protect against sudden movement during travel.

An easier installation process and flexible shelving options allows users to quickly adapt the mount to fit their needs. The kits have no floor rails to keep the under area free for additional storage of wide or bulky items. The kits also feature pre-existing holes and shelves that lock in place anywhere along the rail using a twist plate.

Mounting kits include extruded aluminum upper rails, powder coated steel mounting plates, and hardware for two shelf units for both the driver and passenger side of the vehicle.

New Website

Weather Guard announced the launch of its new website as well, which it says was designed with industry specific features including the ability to select products based on truck or van manufacturer and models.

The website is mobile-friendly with improved digital capabilities allowing contractors and truck owners to quickly search through Weather Guard’s truck and van product catalog. Filters allow users to search based on vehicle make and model to finding the best storage solution.

Enhanced mobile functionality also allows for faster, and improved user experience on a phone, tablet or computer.
