Voyager Partners with Automated Fuel Company
Multiforce Systems Corp. announced a new partnership with U.S. Bank Voyager Fleet Systems Inc. The partnership will integrate Voyager’s retail credit card program with the FuelForce/PC automated fuel management system, creating a fuel management solution for fleets that use a combination of onsite and retail fueling. This approach has been implemented with the state of Arizona, the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, and the U.S. General Services Administration (Mercury Test Site, NV). With the FuelForce/PC proprietary software, fleet managers can analyze fuel consumption data and create their own fuel management reports. The system uses a Voyager card or keypad entry to authorize fuel at any in-house dispenser. Additional proprietary cards or keys are not required. This single card solution eliminates the hassle of man-aging multiple sets of cards and/or keys. The FuelForce island controller can accept a Voyager card from a pre-authorized "third party" without dialing a network for authorization. A positive list of Voyager account numbers, drivers, vehicles and a cur-rent valid vehicle odometer reading reside in a distributed database at each fuel island controller. The FuelForce/PC includes a communication package that polls all sites automatically, without operator intervention. Multiforce Systems Corp., founded in 1981, The first FuelForce automated fueling system was in-stalled in 1984. Today, FuelForce serves over 100 customers at more than 650 sites across the country.
