Headquartered in Mahwah, N.J., Volvo Car USA has expanded its commercial fleet sales team with new hires and promotions as it readies itself to introduce several all-new EV models in the next few years.

Suzanne Lizzi

Heading up the organization is Suzanne Lizzi, who was appointed director of commercial sales in 2022 responsible for fleet, rental, livery, retail programs, certified pre-owned and vehicle remarketing. Previously, Lizzi was a senior manager of retail programs at Volvo. She joined Volvo in 2018, bringing with her 25 years of automotive experience with multiple leadership roles at automotive vendors and retailers.

Tracy Herman

In other news, Tracy Herman has been promoted to senior manager, commercial fleet at Volvo Car USA. Herman joined Volvo Cars in 2015 and has held roles as an aftersales market manager and as a market manager for various territories. Prior to joining Volvo, Herman had an extensive career in retail automotive ranging from sales to general management. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwood University in business admistration/automotive marketing/management.

Jay Tobia

Jay Tobia returned to Volvo fleet in May 2022 as a fleet account manager, a role he previously held in 2015. He will be actively involved in fleet, livery and rental. Previously, Tobia served as a market manager and a regional performance manager in the North East and New England regions Volvo. Tobia also brings eight years of retail automotive sales experience to his new role. He graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in history and a minor in English literature.


Diana Terrones

Diana Terrones has joined Volvo Fleet as a fleet support senior specialist, bringing over 15 years of premium automotive operations experience to Volvo. Terrones comes from Mercedes-Benz USA, where she held positions in their customer advocacy, pre-owned, fleet, and distribution areas. A cum laude graduate of Montclair State University, Terrones holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish translation. She also recently earned a public relations & corporate communications certificate from Temple University Japan.


Paul Kasbar

Paul Kasbar continues as the commercial fleet account manager, a position he assumed in April 2021. Kasbar is based in the San Francisco Bay area. Prior to joining Volvo Car USA, Kasbar worked for Element Fleet Management as vice president, sales, a position he held from January 2015 to March 2021. Earlier, Kasbar worked for LeasePlan USA.
