Toyota will provide details about its 2020 Tacoma midsize pickup next week during the Chicago Auto Show. Toyota teased the new truck with a hazy image showing it's face from the headlights and up that suggests a truck with a similar look to the current model, which entered its third generation in 2016.
The 2020 Tacoma has faced increasing competition in recent years with the arrival of the Chevrolet Colorado and 2019 Ford Ranger, but it remains the leader in the category.
It's powered by either a standard 2.7L four-cylinder (159 hp) or 3.5L V-6 (278 hp). The engines deliver power through a 6-speed automatic transmission to rear- or all-wheel drivetrains.
Toyota will reveal the 2020 Tacoma at 10 a.m. central time on Feb. 7.
