Starting MSRP for the L grade is $16,800 when equipped with the new 6-speed manual transmission. When equipped with the 4-speed automatic transmission, MSRP is $17,400. Standard features on the L model include LED low beam headlamps with LED daytime running lights; standard Bluetooth connectivity; driver and front passenger Whiplash-Injury-Lessening (WIL) seats; and right airbags, including a new driver’s side knee airbag and passenger seat cushion airbag.

Next in the lineup is the LE, which starts at $18,300, a price that Toyota said is $120 more than MSRP for the 2013-MY Corolla LE. Standard features on the 2014-MY LE grade include a backup monitor; climate control; cruise control; keyless entry; Entune Audio (including a 6.1-inch touchscreen); and improved fuel economy due to the new CVTi-S transmission, according to Toyota.

The S grade starts at an MSRP of $19,000, which is a $60 lower price compared to the 2013-MY Corolla S grade. Features on the 2014-MY Corolla S grade include an “aggressive” lower front grille with a piano black finish and chrome surround; unique suspension tuning for the available 17-inch wheel package; available paddle shifters (with CVTi-S) to actuate sequential 7-speeds; a sport cluster gauge with TFT meter; ornate piano black instrument panel; supportive sport seats; and a leather steering wheel cover.

Toyota also offers a more fuel-efficient version of the 2014-MY Corolla LE model, the Corolla LE Eco, which features a 140-hp Valvematic-equipped engine that, combined with improved aerodynamics, and unique CVTi-S tuning, improves fuel economy to 42 highway mpg.

In addition to the 2014 model lineup, the automaker offers Plus and Premium versions of each of the grades. Plus adds alloy wheels to each model and integrated fog lights on the LE, rear disc brakes on the S, and integrated fog lights, a chrome beltline, and an Eco driving mode to the LE Eco. Premium adds alloy wheels and Softex seats to each model in addition to the same additional features that the Plus package provides for each trim grade.

For option packages, Toyota offers the Moonroof package, which provides a power tilt/slide moonroof with sliding sunshade for $850, on the Plus and Premium versions of each grade. Next up is the Drivers Convenience Package, which features a Smart Key System on front doors and trunk with Push Button Start, remote keyless entry system with lock, panic, trunk-release, and liftgate functions. This package is available for the Plus and Premium version of each grade as well. MSRP for this package is $1,510.

Toyota also offers an Entune Premium Audio package, which includes the Entune Multimedia Bundle with navigation and app suite; AM/FM CD player with MP3/WMA playback capability; six speakers; auxiliary audio jack; USB 2.0 port with iPod connectivity and control; hands-free phone capability; phone book access and music streaming via Bluetooth wireless technology; and a 6.1-inch high-resolution touch-screen display with HD radio with traffic and weather, SiriusXM Radio with 90-day All-Access trial, and Gracenotes.
