Tesla's infotainment system is getting an upgrade this year, with YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, and Bilibili, a Chinese youth-focused entertainment platform, being added to the Tesla Theater, ZDNet reports.
"The inside of an automobile is going to become increasingly more of an entertainment opportunity," said Wang Hao, VP of Bilibili's Technology Center, told the news outlet. "We are aware that Tesla CEO Elon Musk is serious about creating an in-car infotainment system that provides 'the most amount of fun you can have in a car."
The entertainment mode will only be available while the car is in park. One of the ideas is to have entertainment while the vehicle is charging at a Supercharger. A WiFi connection will also be required.
The Tesla Theater will be available on all Tesla models around the world.
