The Advanced Clean Fleets (ACF) rule set forth by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) has begun to take effect. The regulation mandates the adoption of zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) and impacts fleets of all types — not just for California companies, but any organization that has vehicles on the road in California.

On June 12 at the Doubletree Port of Los Angeles, Fleet Forward: the Tour will convene a one-day event that will address ACF and other regulations, with insights and solutions for fleet compliance as well as updates on accessing rebates and incentives.

Held in conjunction with NAFA-the Fleet Management Association, the June 12 Tour stop agenda includes seminars, tabletop exhibits, networking, lunch, and a vehicle ride and drive.

In addition to California fleets, national organizations with a portion of their fleet in California are encouraged to attend.

“As the rule has already kicked in for public sector fleets in California, they’re steps ahead in their compliance paths and are already in the trenches with charging infrastructure, sourcing vehicles, and accessing incentives,” said Chris Brown, conference chair.

“Private fleets, particularly those not headquartered in California but doing business in the state, may not yet be educated, as their compliance begins incrementally starting on Jan. 1, 2025. At the June 12 event, we’ll provide the forum for face-to-face conversations between the fleets needing answers and the groups with solutions.”
