Remarketing Services of America Names ADESA Tampa 'Top Performing Auction'
ADESA Tampa has received the national "Top Performing Auction 2000" award from Remarketing Services of America Inc. (RSA). Harrisonburg Auto Auction of Harrisonburg, VA, earned second place, and Rawls Auto Auction of Leesville, SC, was third in the National Quality Control Program (NQCP) ranking. RSA is a provider of strategic vehicle remarketing and lease maturity management for major banks, auto manufacturers, and other automotive financial institutions. Named for superior sales effectiveness, timeliness, and customer service, ADESA Tampa of Tampa, FL, was ranked the top auction in the nation by RSA’s NQCP. Instituted by RSA in 1997, the NQCP tracks effectiveness of auctions throughout the country on a rating system that includes categories ranging from sales effectiveness (generating the highest dollar amount per vehicle, per sale) to customer service. Auctions that score high in the ratings are rewarded with a greater share of RSA's vehicle consignments. RSA expects to sell approximately 150,000 vehicles at auction by year-end 2001.
