LEXINGTON, KY - Premier Transportation Network, a trucking company that serves six states in the eastern half of the country and averages 71,000 gallons of fuel per month for its 60 vehicles, utilizes Fleet One’s fuel card program to get a handle on costs.
Before Premier started working with Fleet One, managers in each state made decisions on what service providers to use, contract terms, and discounts, if any. But after the company met with Fleet One, they quickly realized that it made sense to consolidate its six different entities into one account.
Fleet One provides Premier with several customized services, including its fuel card program for use instead of cash or credit cards to pay for fuel, maintenance, and road-related expenses. The resulting technology to the customer provides purchasing control and online reporting.
Premier can see in real time account activity for a particular location or specific vehicle, which allows them to establish benchmarks and monitor a situation for improvements as necessary.
