ECARX will facilitate the integration of Mobileye's Chauffeur technology and holds the potential for future integration in other Polestar vehicle models.
Mobileye is known for its advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) technology, which is already present in more than 150 million vehicles across the globe.
The debut of the Polestar 4 launched in China on August 25, with a global release in 2024. A key feature of the Polestar 4 is its incorporation of the Mobileye SuperVision-based ADAS right from its initial release.
Anticipated to arrive in China by the close of 2023, this model paves the way for the forthcoming Chauffeur technology.

Soon, the Chauffeur system will provide hands-free autonomous driving on highways and automated driving with driver supervision in various other settings.
Expressing his satisfaction with the progress in Polestar 4's production readiness, Thomas Ingenlath, the CEO of Polestar, highlighted the significance of the partnership with Mobileye in propelling innovation within the Polestar 4 electric performance SUV coupé.
Ingenlath emphasized that this innovation allows customers to engage in autonomous driving, transforming their travel experiences into enjoyable journeys.
The design ethos of the Polestar 4 melds elements from the Polestar Precept concept car, combines the lines of a coupé with aerodynamic features, and offers the spaciousness and comfort synonymous with modern SUVs.
Positioned between Polestar 2 and 3 in terms of dimensions and pricing, the Polestar 4 embodies a fusion of distinct automotive qualities.
