PHH Arval in Canada has announced a strategic alliance with Syscan International, an integrator of wireless technology and computer solutions for in-house garage management operations. Under the alliance, the parties will promote and cross-market their products and services to their existing and potential customers. Clients who operate in-house garages for their fleet maintenance will see the integration of Syscan’s software with PHH’s Internet-based information management system, capturing all data onto one platform. The utilization of Syscan’s in-house software application, together with PHH’s fuel and maintenance procurement card, will give clients real-time access to internal and external fleet costs with the capability to view and manage the total picture from a single platform. Syscan's MIR-RT fleet software automates the process of managing in-house garage fleet maintenance. The solution includes fleet equipment inventory control, preventive maintenance, repair order management, parts inventory control, purchase control system, labor productivity, fuel, and tire cost per unit. The MIR-RT wireless feature helps fleets put in place a visual inspection system to decrease non-scheduled and road call jobs, increase data precision and share information in real time with fleet people. MIR-RT maintanance package solution includes electronic brake and tire measurement tools with a new RFID identification tire chip. Current Syscan clients include fleets such as Molson, the city of Montreal, Levy Transport, and Secur.
