Penske Truck Leasing Opens New Facility in Kansas City, Mo.
READING, PA – Penske Truck Leasing has opened the first of its newly designed facilities in Kansas City, Mo. The facility, which incorporates new design elements and advanced technology features to enhance and standardize the customer experience, will offer commercial and consumer truck rental services, full-service leasing, and contract maintenance.
READING, PA – Penske Truck Leasing has opened the first of its newly designed facilities in Kansas City, Mo. The facility, which incorporates new design elements and advanced technology features to enhance and standardize the customer experience, will offer commercial and consumer truck rental services, full-service leasing, and contract maintenance. The new 24,118-square-foot facility — the result of a $6.5 million investment and the consolidation of two facilities into one — includes five service bays, one fully automated truck washing bay, and a three-lane fuel island for diesel and gasoline refueling. Outfitted with wireless technology, the facility will have the capability to integrate various vehicle diagnostic and repair software. Built on 11.5 acres of land, the new facility will employ approximately 50 associates in the Kansas City area and will have the capacity to maintain more than 1,000 vehicles onsite. The new Kansas City facility will be open for service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with rental operations open seven days a week at the following times: Mon.-Fri. 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sat. 8 a.m. to 2 a.m.; and Sun. 9 a.m. to noon.
