NTEA to Launch Industry’s New Online Community
Partnering with an Internet company, eSociety, the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) is building a web portal devoted to the truck equipment industry. Set to launch this summer, the website will be considered the industry’s online marketplace for expertise, education, and commerce. This new site represents a new approach in the online business community designed to be a daily designation for anyone who participates in the trucking industry. The new site will feature: Members-Only Area – Access valuable information to help build business opportunities. Company/Product Directory – Searchable interactive database. Online Store – Purchase NTEA publications and materials. Used Equipment Exchange – Online auction system to connect buyers and sellers. Classified Ads – Reach a wide range of potential buyers. Web-based E-mail – Anywhere, anytime access to your personalized e-mail account. Job Bank – Post job openings or view a resume database of potential candidates. Community – Message boards, listservs, and chat areas created to support networking within various niche groups. Education – Industry-specific, Web-based training. Member News – Members will be able to submit their own news items and press releases online. Industry News – Regular news feeds from reliable industry sources. Document Library – Instant access to valuable documents.
