New Tools for GE Trucking Web Site
GE Trucking has enhanced its Web site, www.getrucking.com, which helps customers find equipment, financing, and trucking-related services. The site consolidates the offerings of four GE Capital businesses: Penske Truck Leasing, Transport International Pool, GE Capital Commercial Equipment Finance, and GE Capital Fleet Services. Enhancements include a new pre-owned equipment wizard, a streamlined GE Trucking Solutions Wizard, industry insight, and new tools to help visitors make better decisions. The Pre-Owned Equipment Wizard offers shopping for pre-owned trucking equipment. The Trucking Solutions Wizard has been simplified to allow customers to register a need, resulting in a response from a GE Capital account executive. Loan and lease calculators have also been added. In addition, the site now features GE Capital’s I-Sim business. I-SIM driver simulation technology and training systems include visual, motion, vibration, and sound simulation with full standard instrumentation and actual vehicle cabs.
