PRINCETON, NJ – In another sign that the business world is finally rebounding from the recession, NAFA Fleet Management Association has sold every last inch of exhibit space for the Association’s 2011 Institute & Expo and has more than a dozen names already on a waiting list for space.

Registration for the I&E - the largest fleet management event of the year – is up over 30 percent over this time last year.  In fact, all indications are that the I&E will reach attendance numbers last seen in 2007 before the economic downturn began.

NAFA’s 2011 I&E will take place April 9-12 in Charlotte, NC.  The event brings more than 2,000 fleet industry professionals together for four days of education, trade show experience, and networking.  Every industry segment from corporate to government, university, and public service will have fleet managers in attendance.

“Everyone is coming to network,” said NAFA’s Executive Director, Phillip E. Russo, CAE.  “This is a small industry, relatively speaking, and the way to get business done is by getting to know the players.  And there’s no other place where more fleet managers and suppliers will be in greater numbers than I&E.

“In my 20+ years at NAFA, I don’t recall ever experiencing as much buzz about one of our conferences as the one coming up in Charlotte next month,” added Russo.

The Expo Hall will be open Sunday, April 10 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Monday, April 11 between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  More than 250 exhibitors showcasing the latest in fleet products and services -- more than 100 different types of services and product categories – will be on display.  Categories include accident management systems, tires, GPS/tracking, equipment, fuel systems, vehicle lifts, security devices, manufacturers, safety management, brake parts and systems, and more.

A special section called the “Green Zone” features vendors presenting the latest technologies for clean diesel, alternative/renewable fuels, hybrid cars and trucks, electric cars, and other advanced technologies designed for a cleaner, more environmentally-friendly or sustainable fleet.

Businesses who wish to be added to the Expo Floor waiting list or inquire about any remaining sponsorship opportunities should contact NAFA Exhibit Sales at (770) 576-4971.
