Mobileye has been awarded first prize at the International Fleet Industry Awards for the second time in three years, the company announced today.
Mobileye was given the award based on its Mobileye 5 Series + Enhancement Box, which provides fleet managers with practical and precise information on driver behavior and safety, while providing the driver with a state of the art camera-based advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) to ensure their safety.
The Mobileye 5-Series includes the Mobileye 550 and 560 as well as the Mobileye smartphone application. Features include forward collision warning, pedestrian collision warning, head-way monitoring warning, lane departure warning, intelligent high-beam control, and a speed limit indicator.
The Mobileye system has been added to more than 4,000 vehicles with the Germany-based transportation company IN tIME Express Logistik. The company has equipped each vehicle of its 20 subsidiaries, including numerous fleets in Hungary and Romania, as well as the fleets of its 1,500 sub-contractors.
The International Fleet Industry Award is designed to highlight innovative tools, products or services offered by international fleet suppliers that help international fleet managers optimize fleet management.
