Manheim Interactive Announces Executive Roles
Manheim Interactive Inc., the Internet- based wholesale auto remarketing services spin-off from Manheim Auctions Inc., announced several executive appointments within the new company on May 24. Joining President and Chief Executive Officer Hal Logan are Joe Luppino, chief operating officer; Mike Pinnock, president of Manheim Dealer Support Services; M. Todd Croom, vice president of finance and administration; Tom Nohstadt, vice president of business development; and Beverly Shepard, director of marketing. This team is helping move Manheim Interactive from launch stage to industry leadership in the business-to-business e-commerce space. Luppino, chief operating officer, handles the day-to-day operations of Manheim Interactive. He joins the company from Cox Enterprises,where he served as director of operations for corporate marketing. Luppino also worked as Cox vice president of wireless communications. Previously, Luppino was general manager for an educational software publisher and he also spent seven years as a public accountant. Pinnock, president of Manheim Dealer Support Services, leads the dealer support services side of Manheim Interactive. Pinnock and his staff focus on the implementation and upkeep of Tracker dealer management software and the host of additional dealer tools available. Pinnock joined Manheim in 1997 when his software company, ICT, Inc.,was acquired by Manheim. Croom, vice president of finance and administration, manages the financial activities of Manheim Interactive. Most recently, Croom was manager of new media development for Cox Enterprises. Croom joined Cox in 1998. Nohstadt, vice president of business development, is responsible for the online operations of Manheim Interactive and its continuing service developments. In his previous position as vice president of sales operations for Manheim Auctions, Nohstadt served as a liaison between national accounts and Manheim. Before joining Manheim Auctions' home office, Nohstadt was the general manager of Big H Auto Auction in Houston from 1987 to 1992. Shepard, director of marketing, oversees research, analysis and marketing communications for Manheim Interactive. Previously, Shepard spent several years as a newspaper reporter for various metropolitan dailies.
