Kreft Retires as President/CEO of LeasePlan USA
Don Kreft retired as president/CEO of LeasePlan USA. He has been president/CEO since 1986. Among his recent accomplishments was playing a key role in the Uniforce project for the LeasePlan-ABN AMRO Lease Group, which establishes a new corporate strategy, management, and leadership structure for the company. He also oversaw the recent relocation of the company's corporate headquarters to the Oakview I office building in Alpharetta's Sanctuary Parkway in Atlanta on April 3, 2000. He led the growth of LeasePlan USA to its current level of more than 125,000 managed vehicles from approximately 1,100 when he started in 1986. He most recently was named regional director for North America under the Uniforce project for the LeasePlan Group. He had one of the longest tenures of any president/CEO in the industry.
