Jaguar has confirmed it will produce a new mid-sized premium sports sedan called the XE.
The Jaguar XE will be offered as a mostly aluminum vehicle using a new advanced aluminum architecture. The vehicle will be the first to get Jaguar's new Ingenium engine in four-cylinder gasoline and diesel versions.
The new engines will be built at Jaguar Land Rover's engine manufacturing facility in the United Kingdom. The Jaguar XE will reach top speeds exceeding 186 mph, according to Jaguar.
