Holman Automotive Group and ARI were recognized by the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of Autism Speaks as the Top Southern New Jersey "Walk Now for Autism Speaks" fundraising team for 2013.

This award is given to individuals and corporate teams that go above and beyond to raise funds and increase autism awareness. Together, ARI and Holman Automotive raised more than $35,000 in 2013, making the company the top fundraiser for the fifth consecutive year.

Throughout the year, Holman and ARI encouraged employees to support the cause by offering the opportunity to purchase dress down days or a T-shirt for a donation as well as conducting a corporate-wide 50/50 raffle and silent auction. Additionally, nearly 100 ARI and Holman Automotive employees along with their family and friends participated in the charity’s annual "Walk Now for Autism Speaks" event.

Walk Now for Autism Speaks, the nation's largest grassroots autism walk program, is Autism Speaks' signature fundraising and awareness event, taking place in communities across the U.S. and Canada.

This grassroots fundraising effort generates funding for autism research and raises awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism and the need for increased research funding to combat this complex disorder. Visit the foundation's website for more information.
