GMC revealed the next-generation 2025 Terrain with a new design, launching first in the Elevation trim. The new MY delivers more standard technology and equipment for the compact SUV.
All Terrains come standard with a 1.5L Turbocharged engine, offering 175 hp and 203 lb-ft of torque and up to 1,500 pounds max trailering. All-wheel-drive, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and 17-inch wheels are standard on the Elevation trim at launch.

Using the touchscreen or standard Google Assistant, drivers can reply to text messages, get directions through Google Maps, or control select vehicle functions, which could help fleets prevent distracted driving.

The Terrain's Truck-Inspired Design
The 2025 Terrain has a new grille that now shares design cues with GMC's truck lineup by connecting the new headlamps to the lower fog lights. It will also offer a GMC Terrain-first two-tone roof option in black or gray.
The new interior offers chrome decoration sweeping the IP insert, upper door, and console armrest. Available wireless chargers are located near the armrest.
