Tom Coffey has been named vice president, Western territory sales, for GE Capital Fleet Services. Previously, Coffey served as vice president, North American truck sales. Coffey has 17 years experience in the fleet leasing industry, and has been with GE Capital since 1990. Coffey replaces Barry Steel, who has been named to a new position as vice president, North American sales force effectiveness, leading sales training and other e-based sales performance initiatives. Mike Quimby has accepted the vice president, North American truck sales position. Quimby, who most recently served as regional sales manager in New England, has more than 10 years of transportation experience. Scott Groves has been appointed Midwest regional sales manager. Groves has served in a number of sales and sales management positions within GE Capital, and most recently was leading related training and sales development programs at GE Capital’s Center for Learning and Education in Stamford, CT.
