SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA - Fleet Management Solutions, Inc. (FMS) announced it is providing government and humanitarian organizations around the world with comprehensive fleet management tools to maintain secure and dependable vehicle fleets despite limited organizational staffing and resources. FMS will showcase its solutions at the Aid and International Development Forum in Washington, D.C., July 22-23 in Booth # 511 and in three informative sessions.

Aid and International Development organizations such as embassies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), military and U.S. State Department agencies face significant challenges when managing fleets in remote and hazardous regions, including: maintaining the safety and security of personnel; anticipating and responding quickly to emerging danger; reducing fuel and cargo theft; and eliminating unauthorized use of vehicles. The ability for these entities to provide services and respond to the dynamic needs for assistance around the world requires fleet management tools that proactively provide tracking and alerts.

"Be it a U.S. Embassy in a developing country or a humanitarian organization delivering relief around the world, the ability to safely execute the mission while managing costs is a universal challenge," said Cliff Henley, CEO of FMS. "Our solutions offer a range of capabilities ideally suited to address the requirements of the Aid and International Development community including 100 percent global coverage in remote and rugged areas, reliable two-way satellite communications, continuous GPS tracking, and extensive real-time reporting. We are excited to see the interest and uptake in this market segment."

FMS offers a complete solution-hardware, software, installation, and monthly airtime.

FMS tracking modules installed in vehicles maintain continuous GPS location, direction, and speed information and combine that with vehicle performance data for complete mobile resource management. Fleet information is delivered from the vehicle via satellite, ensuring data delivery even in the most remote locations. Data is received, stored, and analyzed at the FMS Network Operations Center. Customers can securely access this information anytime, anywhere via FMS Fleet Central software using a web browser.

Attendees at AIDF are invited to hear more about these solutions from Jeff Wade, FMS Vice President of Marketing, who will participate in the following sessions at AIDF on July 22: 10:00 -11:00 a.m., Area A, "Transport: How to achieve effective transport with smaller NGOs" 12:30 - 12:45 p.m., Area C, "Fleet Management Solutions" 4:30 - 5:30 p.m., Area B, "Pitch Tank" sessions.
