Donlen announced that it made this year’s InformationWeek 500 – a list of the top technology innovators in the U.S. This is the second year in a row that InformationWeek recognized Donlen. Ranked 178 on the list, Donlen was recognized for Donlen Logistics, a comprehensive suite of mobile and electronic logistics products to help fleets that operate trucks and equipment comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMSCA) reporting requirements. Donlen Logistics was developed in conjunction with Hertz Equipment Rental (HERC).

“By giving drivers necessary compliance reporting tools via a handheld device while out in the field, companies will not only reduce safety violations and penalties incurred for incomplete or missing reports, it will improve driver morale as well,” said Dennis Straight, Donlen’s SVP and CIO. “What was once a cumbersome process for drivers is now streamlined and efficient. Imagine having to keep multiple copies of seven days’ worth of reports in the tight quarters of a truck cab. This is no longer an issue.”
