LOUISVILLE, KY — Cummins Inc. announced during the Mid-America Trucking Show that it will give away two prizes of 9,000 gallons of diesel fuel, the equivalent of two full tanker trucks, to a winning U.S. and Canadian contest participant. Participants who have a valid CDL can enter the sweepstakes during the Mid-America Trucking Show, the Great American Trucking Show, the ExpoCam Show, through participating Cummins dealers and distributors, or online at www.everytime.cummins.com. Entrants of the 9,000 Gallon Giveaway are encouraged to visit the Every MPG section of the www.everytime.cummins.com Web site devoted to maximizing fuel economy and engine performance. Truck owners and drivers will find tips to help reduce operating costs, vehicle spec'ing guides, and ways to optimize their Cummins engine using PowerSpec, Load-Based Speed Control, and other electronic features. The 9,000 Gallon Giveaway officially runs between March 31, the opening of the Mid-America Trucking Show, and 11:59 p.m., October 22, the close of the ExpoCam Show. A random drawing will take place at Cummins headquarters on November 1, where one U.S. CDL holder and one Canadian CDL holder will be chosen. Additionally, five runner-up prizes of $500 fuel cards will be awarded, both in the United States and Canada. Any holder of a valid CDL with a valid address is eligible to enter. There is no purchase necessary to enter the sweepstakes, however participants are limited to one entry per person.
