Commonwealth To Auction Vehicles June 15

PA Department of General Services (DGS) Secretary Gary E. Crowell announced that the state will auction 200 used state vehicles at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 14, in the Commonwealth Garage at 2221 Forster St., Harrisburg. A variety of vehicles will be on the auction block, including: Chevrolet Caprices and Corsicas; Ford Crown Victorias; and Yamaha motorcycles. Prospective bidders may inspect the vehicles at the Commonwealth Garage or at various locations across the state, May 30 through June 12. Bidders must register and receive a number on Thursday, June 14. Buyers must pay with cash, postal money order, certified check or cashier's check. Personal, municipal or company checks will not be accepted.
