Comdata Corp. announced on June 6 that it has reached an exclusive, multi-year agreement with Schneider National, Inc., a truckload carrier with 16,000 employees worldwide, to provide paperless fuel tax reporting for its entire fleet of more than 12,500 trucks. Schneider National previously self-managed its entire fuel tax operation from its corporate headquarters in Green Bay, WI. Financial terms were not disclosed. A provider of truckload and intermodal transportation solutions, Schneider has relied on Comdata to move money and information to its drivers across the country for purchasing fuel and personal items with the company's Comchek card since 1998. Comdata's paperless fuel tax product works with wireless communications devices and GPS systems to create a completely paperless fuel tax solution.
