The Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR) 2003, produced by Bobit Publishing, will take place on Feb. 23-25, 2003 at the Las Vegas Hilton. Both Ray Nichols, president of the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA), and Jim Compton, incoming president of NAAA, have reviewed the plans to schedule CAR 2003 in Las Vegas and said they are 100-percent supportive. In addition, the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) will hold its all-member meeting at CAR 2003 on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003, said IARA President Dave Langley. The show returns in 2003 to the Las Vegas Hilton, where it took place in 2001. “We’re pleased to be able to bring CAR back to the Las Vegas Hilton, where it was very well-received in 2001,” said CAR Show Manager Mark Naylor. CAR 2002 took place at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago on April 12-14, 2002 and it drew nearly 500 attendees.
