Sponsored exclusively by Merchants Fleet, the Fleet Visionary Award recognizes new voices in fleet management. The Fleet Visionary Award is open to any fleet professional with 10 years or fewer in the industry with a commercial fleet of 50 vehicles or more.

A fleet visionary is someone who has brought a new perspective to running a commercial fleet resulting in a fleet that is more operationally efficient, cost-effective, safer, or any combination of these by introducing new methods, efficiencies, and/or technologies.

Last year’s Fleet Visionary of the Year was Kate Tooley, who worked for Terminix as Director of Fleet Strategy and Operations (she now works at Asplundh). She revamped the cycle strategy and found several cost-saving, efficiency-increasing measures to keep the fleet running through a tough pandemic year.
