DETROIT – General Motors announced former Vice Chairman Bob Lutz is back with the automaker on a part-time consulting basis. The company said this announcement is effective immediately.
GM said Lutz has been providing advice to company executives informally since retiring in 2010.
Lutz has more than 40 years of experience in the automotive industry, including two previous times at GM. He has also been a senior executive at Ford, Chrysler, BMW, and was the CEO of Exide Batteries.
