HERNDON, VA - Audi of America, Inc. announced the major changes and pricing for its 2012-MY lineup. The automaker introduced its new A8 L W12, equipped with a 12-cylinder engine, which offers a number of technology features for executives or business owners, Audi stated. Other models with changes include the new A7, new A6, and updated A8 and Q7 models, with the Audi connect system.

A7 (all new)
The Audi A7 drivetrain is a 3.0 liter, V6 supercharged engine, with 310 hp, which is mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, and standard quattro all-wheel-drive.

The new 6.3-liter 12-cylinder engine produces 500 horsepower and 463 lb-ft of torque. This engine, mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission and quattro all-wheel-drive produces sports-car levels of performance, with a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds.
